Below here are the WordPress Blocks we have developed for use on the site.

General block to hold content.  May use the Narrow layout to have a more favorable width layout for reading and have the option to add a video or image pulled to the right.

Block Pattern: Text & Image

Useful for Z-Pattern layouts.  Uses Columns with a Content block added to one and an Image block added to the other.  If creating manually with Columns block, be sure to double check that Options > Spacing is adjusted for the wrapped Content block.  If not it will add a lot of white space around your content.

FRAMED Heading

Some introduction content to the blocks.  This way it can utilize the design border with vertical connecting line to the cards.

Contain Image

Description text. Also note that you have options on how to display the Image. You can cover, which may result in cropping of the image, or contain which will fill the space without cropping, or default which uses the images original size but won’t go beyond 100% width. Default is good for small images.

These cards are also possible in a four card layout that differs slightly.

Kitchen Sink

Nicole Mascolo, a Brigham and Women’s pharmacist, offered this insight: “There wasn’t always someone there to double check the kits after technicians had restocked them so time management and safety were the key reasons to automate this process.”

Even with a manual double check by pharmacists and technicians, field data show manually restocked pharmacy kits typically have a 5 – 35% stocking error rate. That means at least 5% of the time, two professionals make the same mistake for the same kit. Manually restocking pharmacy kits is a tedious, mind-numbing task that leads to human error.

Makes my job so much easier! I have worked in a hospital without Kit Check before, and it required a [full-time] technician to manually refill all the trays/boxes! To me, Kit Check is worth the expense, especially for the unusual amount of boxes this hospital’s pharmacy has.
